Gordy by Roni DaRonche
Gordy, by Roni DaRonche and illustrated by Melissa Green, is a great little Halloween story for young children that emphasizes the power of being yourself and not worrying too much about negative peer pressure. All the other pumpkins want Gordy to be a "Scary" jackolantern like themselves, but little Gordy just can’t manage it. In the end, his natural talent and disposition for cheerfulness pays off in the end. The story and illustrations are very cute. Visit The Old Manor blog for more information.
