Halloween Sheet Music

"Dracula’s Theme Song" was written to go along with the opening credits of the old Bela Lugosi "Dracula" which uses the famous tune from "Swan Lake." Usually I don’t go putting words to famous tunes, but one night I was watching this film last year close to Halloween and ‘inspiration’ struck. This is completely tongue-in-cheek; I hope it makes you smile as much as I do when singing it. Please be as melodramatic as possible!

Incidentally, there is almost no music in the "Dracula" movie, except for the opening credits and a scene at the opera. There was a new score done by Philip Glass performed by the Kronos Quartet, but a copy of that version is not easy to find. Personally, I like watching it both ways; it gives me an excuse to watch it twice. I also enjoy the Spanish version that was filmed on the same sets at the same time for simultaneous release with the English version: the Spanish Dracula is very different.
