Storm Giant : a Fantasy Poem

Storm Giant, Storm Giant, creature of night,
Creature of cloud, creature of sight,
Sight of the lightning, voice of great thunder,
Creature of darkness, creature of wonder.
Rain and wind are in your breath.
Dark turned light and surest death.
Bright white fork, your only play,
You summon the tines oft as you may.
The sun your foe, the gale your friend;
Which will tear you out in the end?
With tempests unbound you would rack without measure,
Washing away all that gives you most pleasure.
