This is a story/song album of Halloween music and stories that was printed in the 60s (now out of print). This one takes familiar folk and classical tunes and puts Halloween-themed words to them. Though I generally am not in favor of this practice (I prefer to have original music or music that is already associated with Halloween themes), the production quality is high on the instrumentals and the album is generally well-done. This is for very young children, which may be exactly what you want if you have very young children.

Just a quick review on a great new album for Halloween: If you like swing and big band era music . . . If you like Halloween . . . If you like jazzy vocals . . . If you like a good sense of humor . . . If you like Disney’s classic Legend of Sleepy Hollow and the song about the Headless Horseman sung by Brom (my favorite track on this CD) . . . Well, what are you waiting for? Visit the link above to visit the Moon-Rays on MySpace and listen to some samples . . . then buy it . . . its a great album worthy of repeated listening.
