OK, you can toss anything you want, but candy corn does say "Halloween" like nothing else I know.
- Divide into two or more teams.
- Give each team a cup of candy corn.
- Tie an empty cup around one of the team member’s waist (this team member can move to accomodate throws, but shouldn’t use his/her hands). Position this person 5-6 feet away from the rest of the team.
- Place boundary markers to separate the cup bearer from the rest of the team (if they cross the boundary they are automatically disqualified).
- Start some Halloween music to begin the game.
- A team member tries to throw as many candy corn in the cup as they can.
- Stop and start the music to give each of the team members a chance to trade off.
- When the music ends, everyone stops and the corn in the cup bearer’s cups are counted. The team with the most candy corn in their cup wins.
Be careful to pick up any candy corn remaining on the floor, or play this game outdoors if you don’t want to grind candy corn into your carpet. If you don’t want to use candy corn, a good alternative is unpopped or popped popcorn kernels.
