Make your own original Halloween Post Card Art
By M Ryan Taylor on Aug 11, 2008 | In Art & Craft Projects
Create Halloween themed postcards for use as party invitations or Halloween greetings. This is good as a family activity in September or the first part of October.
You will need blank 4x6 index cards or cardstock paper and one or more of the following art materials (you can combine many of them):
- crayons
- colored pencils
- markers
- acrylic paint
- watercolor
- gel pens
If you need to make a lot of cards there are several options that you can try.
- Purchased stamps and an inkpad.
- You can make your own stamps out of many materials and use them with special printing ink or plain acrylic craft paints. Stamps or blocks can be made out of potatoes, cardboard, styrofoam or other materials.
- Scan your art into a computer and just print them out or take them to a copy center.
