Nothing quite says Halloween like a bevy of bats on your door!

Draw bat and/or ghost patterns yourself or trace them from a color book. Even better, have your kids draw you your patterns.
Use felt for the fabric. Cut as many ghosts or bats as you wish.
Edge with puffy paints & paint faces if you wish, or not.
Layer and glue on wreath form with a glue gun, add ribbon and hang.
Or, stitch with a couple of stitches or glue gun the points of wings, or robes together to form a circle. Pin on a ribbon and hang. If you wish to make them puffy, cut a back for each one, glue gun the seam, leave opening and then stuff with a small amount of stuffing, glue gun shut, add ribbon and hang.
